Formed in 1984 in Cracow, Poland, MADE IN POLAND, seems to be one of the most influential cold wave groups in Europe. Inspired by Joy Division, Killing Joke and Echo And The Bunnymen, MIP created their own sound and published six songs only in the first period of their activity. "Jedna kropla deszczu/One Raindrop" sounds like My Bloody Valentine on "Loveless" but it comes from 1986. In 1989 Made In Poland published their first album with songs coming from late 80-ties when the band was under a great impact of Style Council or Simple Minds. Nine songs from this vinyl album with this six mentioned above appearead in 2005 in the only one CD of MiP. In Oct 2007 W Moich Oczach, Polish independent label, is going to launch double CD album called "Martwy Kabaret"/"The Dead Cabaret" with songs from the mid 80-ties which could not be published in these times because of the communistic censorship in Poland. The majority of them will be available in live version. It shows an unique chemistry between musicians which allowed to create terrific sound of Made In Poland. "Martwy kabaret" will also contain a new single of the reactivated in 2006 band called "W Moim pokoju"/"In My Room". This is the art video directed by Jagoda Szelc. Currently Made In Poland is composed of two original members : Artur Hajdasz (drummer and now lead singer) and Piotr Pawlowski (bass and keyboards player), supported by guitar player Slawomir "Dzabi" Leniart from AGRESSIVA 69.

Now you can listen to a new version of the first song of MADE IN POLAND called ‘Wiatraki’ which was recorded in March 2008. The strange voice we sampled here belongs to Wladyslaw Gomulka, the leader of communistic party in Poland and it comes from 1968. His voice perfectly corresponds with our new video to this song:)
